Cheap Biggie RC cola soft drinks mixed with gasoline are deliberately being sold in Tagum city. A certain customer who bought the item reported the incident to the local government to alert the public.
The modus operandi of the group, who are selling RC Cola drinks in Tagum city, was described in a Facebook post of the Department of Trade and Industry(DTI). The government agency warned the consumers to be careful in buying low-priced RC cola drinks which were allegedly being sold to the public in random places in the province.
DTI mentioned that the soft drinks mixed with gasoline were being sold by an unidentified suspect who uses a rickshaw(padyak) to carry the items and marketing it directly to residential customers.
In the public photo released by DTI, the gasoline content found in the BIGGIE (1.5L) RC Cola soft drinks is very obvious and seen at the bottom of the bottle.
Soft drinks lovers out there specifically in Tagum City, beware of this RC Cola modus operandi. Be more vigilant and cautious when buying low-priced soft drinks in your area.
